about

Third album by this dutch “stonerblues” quartet, consisting of vocal/guitar, harmonica, bass and drums.
The sound is again not your conventional blues album, but it does sound rocking, raw and direct. The album is jam packed with catchy grooves and riffs. Hard to pinpoint this unique sounding band, but it's highly recommended for people who would like Nick Cave's Grinderman mixed with 70's Rock, Velvet Underground and Tony Joe White with slide guitar and harmonica on steroids...also recommended for fans of Jack White and Tom Waits....

The Mighty Ya-Ya generates some truly original grooves by up-cycling the classic amplified sounds we all (should) love. ... more
